Founded by Christel, Nathan and CEO Frenchie Hela, we are passionate about raising healthy, well-socialised, and affectionate Ragdolls that embody the breed’s signature beauty and temperament.
Although officially established in 2021, our experience with the breed spans many years. Over time, we have cultivated a deep understanding and appreciation for Ragdolls. We are fortunate to have been mentored by esteemed breeders, including Jimaline Ragdolls and Primavera Ragdolls, whose guidance has been invaluable in refining our practices.
The world of feline breeding is ever-evolving, and we prioritize staying informed with the latest research, updates from our governing council (GCCFV), and insights shared by our mentors. This commitment to ongoing education ensures we breed healthy, well-tempered, and high-quality Ragdolls.
Our focus is on quality over quantity, prioritising the health, temperament, and luxurious aesthetics of our Ragdolls.
Beyond breeding, we offer ongoing support and guidance to new kitten owners, helping them integrate their new family member seamlessly. Our cattery is built on love, expertise, and a deep appreciation for this remarkable breed.

At Purrsace, we believe the way a kitten is raised shapes the companion they become. Every step of our kittens' journey, from their first days to the moment they join their new families is guided by a focus on health, confidence and loving temperaments.
A Gentle Beginning
Weeks 0-2
Newborn kittens are kept warm and safe in our quiet kitten nursery. Each queen has a private, clean space to bond with her litter. We weigh kittens daily, monitor their growth closely, and begin gentle early socialisation by softly handling paws, ears, and tails to build trust.
Awakening Senses
Weeks 3-4
As their eyes open and they begin to explore, we introduce household sounds, new textures, and gentle handling outside their pen. Around this time, we also start them on a high-quality raw diet alongside nursing, laying the foundation for strong, healthy growth. Short, supervised playtimes help them build confidence in new environments while staying close to their mum for comfort.
Building Confidence
Weeks 5-7
Exploration expands to new rooms of the home. Kittens experience a wide range of household sights, sounds, and surfaces. We gently expose them to grooming routines like brushing, preparing them for easy vet visits and home care.
Social Butterflies
Weeks 8-10
Kittens are now confident explorers, fully integrated into family life. They experience visitors, play with adult pets and get to have some fresh air in the outdoor catio all under supervision. They’re fully litter trained and developing their charming Ragdoll personalities.
Ready for their forever homes
Weeks 11-12
Before leaving, kittens are desexed, microchipped, vet-checked, and continue daily handling and cuddles to reinforce their social skills. By the time they go home, they are confident, affectionate, well-groomed, and ready to become a beloved member of your family.
At Purrsace, our Ragdolls are not just pets, they’re beloved members of our family. Our home is their home, and we’re proud to raise our cats in a space designed for both comfort and safety. Our queens and kittens have free access to most areas of the house, including our dedicated kitten nursery, living spaces, and a secure outdoor catio where they can safely enjoy the fresh air and sunshine.
We use pet gates where needed. Especially during kitten-rearing to gently separate queens who may need space while nursing or when introductions are still underway. Each cat’s wellbeing is our top priority, and our setup allows them to feel secure and respected in their own zones.
We’ve also installed cameras in all main areas to monitor interactions and ensure everyone remains safe and content even when we’re not in the room. This helps us keep a close eye on how kittens are socialising, how queens are recovering post-birth, and how group dynamics evolve.
We believe in full transparency. By sharing real glimpses of our home through videos and photos, you can feel confident knowing exactly where your future kitten has been raised. This open approach helps future pawrents understand the level of care and attention each kitten receives. Kittens raised in a loving, lived-in family environment like ours grow up more confident, better socialised, and ready to transition into new homes with ease and trust.
Kitten Room
This cosy, light-filled space is where our queens can safely raise their litters and feel calm and secure. It’s also used for quiet socialisation, early play, or short-term quarantine if needed. With plenty of enrichment, soft bedding, and quiet corners, it’s designed to support confident, well-adjusted kittens from the very start.
Living Room
Our main lounge is where our cats and kittens experience everyday family life, sunny naps on the couch, soft rugs, gentle human chatter, and the occasional Netflix night. It’s a social hub that helps our kittens grow confident with household sounds and routines.
Catio
Our enclosed outdoor catio gives our Ragdolls a safe way to enjoy sunshine, fresh air, and birdsong. With climbing towers, swings, and lounging baskets, it’s a favourite spot for play, naps, and exploration. It also helps build confident, well-rounded kittens by giving them enriching sensory experiences in a secure space.
When you adopt a Purrsace kitten, you’re not just welcoming a new companion, you’re joining our extended family. We pour our hearts into raising every kitten with love, care, and purpose, and we’re here to support you long after your kitten comes home.
We believe a true breeder’s role doesn’t end at adoption.
